AI Implementation Lead – Technical Product Manager

About the role

Zaigo is looking for an AI Implementation Lead to own end‑to‑end delivery of custom AI solutions for founder‑led, middle‑market companies. You will act as the trusted technical product manager, guiding client discovery, solution design, and execution within a pod of senior AI engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery calls, scope work, set expectations, and manage client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate messy operational problems into concrete AI system designs, explaining solutions in plain English.
• Architect solutions on the spot, selecting appropriate frameworks, open‑source repositories, and integration points (e.g., APIs, Excel templates, CRM systems).
• Break down scoped solutions into engineering tasks, hand them off to the pod, unblock engineers, and review deliverables for architectural soundness and UX.
• Prototype quick demos or validate approaches using tools such as Cursor or Claude Code when needed.
• Juggle multiple active projects (5‑10 clients) while maintaining calm, proactive communication and meeting shifting deadlines.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of experience in technical product management, solutions engineering, technical consulting, forward‑deployed engineering, or running an independent practice.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and build strong client trust.
• Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with non‑technical executives.
