AFC Senior Specialist - Argentina Projects

About the role

Met T&S, the global employment company of the MAIRE group, is recruiting an Administration, Finance and Control (AFC) Specialist for projects in Argentina and South America. The role covers accounting, reporting, treasury, tax compliance and project finance, in line with Group policies and local regulations. It is open to Spanish-speaking professionals with experience leading industrial works in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• General accounting: journal entries, account reconciliations and support for monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
• Prepare schedules and documentation for statutory financial statements, Group reporting and IFRS reporting
• Support auditors in reviewing Group reporting and financial statements
• Support accounts payable and receivable, including invoice review, vendor and customer reconciliations, collections follow-up and payment documentation
• Bank reconciliations, bank balance monitoring, payment proposals and cash-flow and liquidity forecasts
• Tax compliance: VAT, corporate income tax, turnover taxes, municipal taxes and withholding regimes, keeping the tax calendar and supporting files
• Maintain liaison with local tax advisors and support tax audits, inspections, transfer-pricing documentation and intercompany reconciliations
• Project accounting, cost and cash-flow monitoring, financial performance analysis and reports for project and country management
• Apply Group AFC procedures and internal controls, keep audit trails and escalate issues with corrective actions

Required profile

• Fluent Spanish (mandatory) and English
• Experience managing large industrial, EPC, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical or infrastructure construction sites
• Understanding of South American construction environments, contractors and regulations
• Comfortable in multicultural, international project teams and willing to support projects across Argentina and the region
