Accounting Manager

About the role

AtlasBrands is seeking an autonomous, forward‑thinking Accounting Manager to bring its financial operations in‑house. You will own the books, month‑end close, and reporting for the parent company and its portfolio of DTC brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration of accounting functions from an external agency to an internal team, establishing controls and scalable workflows.
• Oversee multi‑entity accounting, managing intercompany transactions, shared expenses, and complex payment allocations.
• Supervise and coach an internal Bookkeeper, audit daily entries, and enforce operational guidelines.
• Handle high‑volume e‑commerce reconciliations, including inventory, COGS, Shopify sales, and payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal.
• Own the month‑end close process and deliver accurate GAAP financial statements by entity and consolidated group.
• Utilize AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to build dynamic dashboards, automate reporting, and streamline data pipelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including managing a parent company with multiple legal entities in the DTC/e‑commerce sector.
• Proven people‑management experience supervising a Bookkeeper or Junior Accountant.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic oversight and hands‑on problem solving.
