Academic Operations Manager (Buenos Aires)

About the role

Verto Education, which connects students to 70+ US partner universities through experiential education, is hiring an Academic Operations Manager for its Buenos Aires study center. The role sits on the Academic Affairs HQ (AAHQ) team, reporting to the Associate Director of Academic Operations, and is a hands-on, individual-contributor position. It is hybrid, based at the Buenos Aires study center, and requires working across time zones with US-based leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AAHQ projects end-to-end in Asana, coordinating stakeholders, calendars, handoffs and site localization
• Maintain resources, templates and SOPs for recurring academic processes such as Add/Drop, course evaluations and onboarding
• Define business requirements and run QA and testing for academic technology projects, and act as a power user of tools such as Canvas, Dropout Detective and Qwickly
• Act as account administrator for externally contracted tools, ensuring data privacy and FERPA compliance, and design or run training
• Build and maintain academic reports and dashboards from Salesforce, Canvas and Google products, and turn raw data into clear insights
• Support onsite specialists, triage escalated support tickets and coordinate logistics for team offsites
• Lead faculty credentialing, onboarding and offboarding processes, and recommend technology or AI solutions to remove operational bottlenecks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; 4-6 years of project-management experience, ideally in education, operations or academic services
• Excellent written and spoken English and cross-cultural communication
• Comfort working across time zones with US teams and in international, multi-site, hybrid or remote-first settings
• Legal authorization to work in the designated location

Required skills

• Asana and Salesforce or similar systems
• Data analysis and reporting, including presenting to stakeholders
• Nice to have: master's degree, experience defining business requirements or QA testing, familiarity with analytical reporting
