About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Apple devices. The role focuses on delivering seamless performance and exceptional user experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and ship applications for the iOS platform.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and implement new features.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs and maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain code quality, organization and automation.
• Follow Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Develop and integrate APIs to support mobile functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS trends, tools and best practices.
• Adapt existing web applications into mobile solutions.
• Suggest and implement new mobile products, applications and protocols.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Senior-level expertise with strong leadership and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Required skills

• Swift programming language.
• Xcode development environment.
• iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
• Offline storage, threading and performance tuning.
• Integration with RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of UI/UX standards and Apple design principles.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns and best coding practices.
