Finance & Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Specialist to join our team in Buenos Aires. You will support budgeting, bookkeeping and financial analysis while driving process improvements across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the budgeting process by creating financial models, forecasting performance and identifying variances between actual and budgeted figures.
• Collect, organize and maintain financial data for accurate reporting and analysis.
• Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on overdue invoices and reconcile AR accounts.
• Develop analytics and reporting for department leaders and perform ad‑hoc financial analysis as required.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement and cost‑saving initiatives within the finance function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or administration.
• Fluent English, both oral and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and handling large data sets.
• Experience with financial systems such as Quickbooks; ERP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑oriented abilities.
