Valuation Controller Associate

About the role

The Valuation Controller Associate will support the Valuation Control Group across multiple business lines, ensuring accurate fair‑value measurement and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. This role collaborates with senior stakeholders, functional teams, and auditors to maintain a robust valuation control framework.

Key responsibilities

• Execute price verification and benchmark processes, including calculation of fair value adjustments.
• Support Valuation Control Group initiatives, management reporting, and regulatory mandates.
• Partner with functional teams to resolve valuation issues and implement measures ensuring fair value.
• Enhance the control framework by reviewing independent pricing processes and deploying new tools for efficiency.
• Participate in value‑added projects across Business, Risk, and Finance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Undergraduate degree in finance or economics preferred; graduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics or engineering a plus.
• Ability to understand complex financial products and transaction flows.
• Knowledge of valuation concepts for financial products and derivatives, with basic accounting awareness.
• Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude.
