Cybersecurity Specialist – Digital Threat Hunting

About the role

Questrade Financial Group is seeking a Digital Threat Hunting Specialist to protect its customers and brand from sophisticated online attacks. You will lead the detection, analysis, and remediation of phishing sites, brand impersonation, typosquatting domains, credential‑harvesting campaigns, and other digital fraud targeting the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and takedown customer‑facing and external digital threats using custom tooling and novel techniques.
• Develop and maintain monitoring solutions for phishing, brand impersonation, typosquatting, and fraud campaigns.
• Investigate digital fraud patterns at deep technical levels, including reverse‑engineering phishing kits.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of malicious JavaScript, PHP, and HTML.
• Recreate full exploitation chains to understand attacker tactics and assess customer exposure.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in cybersecurity and digital threat hunting.
• Hands‑on experience with reverse engineering and web‑based malware analysis.
• Ability to develop custom detection tools and scripts.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on measurable results.
