WordPress Developer – Remote

About the role

As a WordPress Developer at Mettano, you will own the end‑to‑end production of websites for home‑service businesses. You will build new sites, optimise existing ones, handle migrations and ensure fast, reliable performance while collaborating closely with the SEO and client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build responsive, conversion‑focused websites using WordPress and Elementor, following design templates and SOPs.
• Manage site migrations, domain transfers, DNS configuration, email setup, SMTP troubleshooting and third‑party integrations (CRM, Zapier).
• Implement page‑speed optimisation: image compression, lazy loading, caching, CDN and core web vitals.
• Perform regular maintenance – content updates, layout changes, plugin updates and troubleshooting.
• Work with the SEO team on design fixes and communicate directly with clients when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with WordPress and Elementor.
• Proficient in UI design and basic SEO concepts.
• Fully fluent in English.
• Available for at least 5 hours of daily overlap with EST (GMT‑09:00 to GMT‑01:00).
