Web Designer

About the role

Profound is a fast‑moving AI‑focused marketing platform seeking a Web Designer to shape the online experience of its brand. You will create and ship marketing sites, landing pages, and product‑adjacent web surfaces that reflect Profound’s dark, editorial aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch marketing pages, landing pages, and campaign sites aligned with the brand’s visual language.
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers and design engineers from concept through QA and launch.
• Work within and help evolve Profound’s web design system, using real components and constraints.
• Prototype interactions and page‑level motion, providing detailed specifications for implementation.
• Own end‑to‑end web design for key initiatives, including homepage updates and feature launch pages.
• Partner with brand and product marketing to translate briefs into high‑conversion, on‑brand experiences.
• Audit and refine existing site for consistency and craftsmanship.
• Occasionally extend design work to email, social, and event assets when tied to web campaigns.

Required profile

• Ability to take a brief from concept to shipped page with full autonomy.
• Strong command of web design fundamentals such as layout, typography, grid, and hierarchy.
• Portfolio demonstrating high‑quality, shipped websites.
• Fluency in Figma and AI‑enhanced design tools.
• Attention to detail in typography, spacing, rhythm, and overall consistency.
• Capacity to deliver high‑quality work quickly on short timelines.
• Versatile generalist comfortable with both marketing landing pages and product‑adjacent surfaces.
