VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for a senior VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer to design, deploy and support modern VMware infrastructure for a US‑based client. The role is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere in Latin America. Fluency in English is required as all communications and interviews are conducted in English.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) including management and workload domains.
• Implement and optimise vSphere, vSAN, NSX‑T, HCX and SRM components.
• Troubleshoot compute, storage and network virtualization issues.
• Perform capacity planning, health checks and risk assessments.
• Produce documentation and operational hand‑off materials.
• Support disaster‑recovery architecture, testing and validation.
• Provide knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT experience, preferably in consulting or client‑facing roles.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with VCF 9 (migration from VCF 5 is a plus).
• Strong understanding of virtualization, networking and storage concepts.
• Familiarity with HCI platforms such as Dell VxRail.
