US Filings Team Analyst

About the role

J.P. Morgan is hiring a US Filings Team Analyst to be based in Argentina within In-House Legal Services (ILS). The role supports the US Filings Team (USFT) and the Client Services Legal Support team (CST), helping ensure timely and accurate compliance with U.S. corporate governance requirements such as state qualification, franchise tax, annual reports and event-based filings, while providing day-to-day legal support to bankers and client service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to day-to-day inquiries from bankers and client service associates, including product/process exceptions, within attorney-approved guidance
• Advise bankers and client service associates on Corporate and Investment Banking products and processes
• Prepare, review and issue client-facing letters and responses using attorney-approved templates, escalating novel, material or higher-risk matters to counsel
• Prepare and submit annual reports and event-based filings across U.S. jurisdictions, covering state qualification, franchise tax and related requirements
• Handle corporate filings with the 50 U.S. states' Secretaries of State for J.P. Morgan subsidiaries and related inquiries
• Manage internal projects on legal entities, data analysis, process updates and risk and controls, working with Corporate Tax and the filings vendor
• Maintain and update operational documentation and tools

Required profile

• Law graduate or law student in the final two years of the degree
• Self-starter able to work independently and in a team
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization and deadline management
• Ability to follow processes and spot issues needing escalation
• Excellent written and spoken English
• End-to-end ownership mindset with strong follow-up
