Technical Check Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Technical Check Assistant to join our global EdTech platform. In this remote, part‑time role you will perform quick pre‑class technical checks for Italian‑speaking clients, ensuring they meet the basic requirements before their trial lessons start.

Key responsibilities

• Contact clients 30 minutes before their scheduled trial class.
• Verify that a parent is present for the full session and notify the team if not.
• Confirm the client is using a PC or laptop; request a switch from phone/tablet when necessary.
• Run an internet speed test and ensure both download and upload speeds are at least 10 Mbps.
• Check basic device specifications (operating system and processor speed) and flag any devices that do not meet the minimum requirements.
• Record the outcome of each check and inform the Customer Care team of any required rescheduling.

Required profile

• Fluent Italian (native or C1+).
• Availability for the scheduled CET shifts (Monday‑Friday, 15:30‑19:00 with a shorter Thursday slot).
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow scripted procedures.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS and Chromebook operating systems.
• Ability to perform internet speed tests.
• Familiarity with PC/laptop hardware specifications.
