Tech Lead – AI

About the role

Trafilea is building an AI Growth Engine to power the next generation of consumer brands. As an AI Tech Lead you will design and deliver scalable AI platforms that drive personalization, conversions and brand growth across a global e‑commerce footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Define and build AI‑driven architecture such as recommendation engines and LLM‑based personalization from prototype to production.
• Partner with product leaders to translate business goals into AI‑powered solutions.
• Architect scalable micro‑services, data pipelines and integrations across Golang, Node.js, React and AWS.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance and best practices.
• Lead agile delivery and act as Deputy Scrum Master to ensure fast, reliable feature shipping.
• Own hiring, set OKRs and performance metrics for the team.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience leading teams and shipping scalable AI/engineering solutions.
• Proven mastery of Cursor or similar AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cody, Codex).
• Strong experience in prompt engineering and designing AI‑assisted workflows.
• Deep practical knowledge of AI/ML systems such as LLMs, recommender systems and data‑driven architectures.
• Fluent English communicator with a collaborative, mentorship‑focused mindset.
