Tax Advisory Specialist

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a Tax Advisory Specialist to join its Global Business Center in Buenos Aires. The role involves providing advanced tax advice on complex domestic and international issues, supporting major transactions and shaping tax strategies that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of tax planning strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Monitor, research and summarize tax laws, policies, regulations and industry developments.
• Analyze business operations, transactions and investments to identify tax issues, opportunities and risks.
• Assist with tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestments.
• Research technical tax issues, prepare recommendations and supporting documentation for management review.
• Provide tax analysis for cross‑functional projects and coordinate with finance, legal, accounting and business teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in income tax compliance, or 2–4 years in income tax planning or international tax.
• Experience gained in a law firm, Big 4 advisory firm or a multinational corporation.
• Strong working knowledge of income tax regulations and the ability to interpret complex tax policies.
