Tax Advisory Expert

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a Tax Advisory Expert to join its Global Business Center in Buenos Aires. The role will support business and finance managers with tax planning, compliance, and strategic advice across domestic and international transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and tax stakeholders to develop and implement tax planning strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor tax laws, policies, and regulations and assess their impact on global operations.
• Analyze operations, transactions, and investments to identify tax risks, planning opportunities, and value‑chain considerations.
• Lead or support tax analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and divestments.
• Prepare and review technical memoranda, presentations, and other deliverables related to tax planning and legislative developments.
• Manage discrete projects and workstreams, coordinating with finance, legal, accounting, and business teams.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering technical and professional development.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in US or Canadian income tax.
• Proven ability to advise on complex tax issues and major transactions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in a multinational corporate environment.
