About the role

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its pre‑sales team in Buenos Aires. The role blends deep technical knowledge of networking and cloud security with customer‑facing activities, supporting both new and existing enterprise accounts.

Key responsibilities

Qualify sales leads from a technical standpoint and act as the primary technical resource on sales calls.
Develop and deliver proposals, demos, and presentations for security solutions.
Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle, from RFIs through RFPs and RFQs.
Prepare tender documents, proof‑of‑concept demonstrations, and POC labs.
Analyse customer environments, requirements and challenges to design and propose security solutions.
Serve as the lead technical contact for post‑sales accounts, coordinating with support and engineering teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

Field sales experience combined with technical/pre‑sales support background.
Hands‑on experience with LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
Experience handling mid‑size to large enterprise accounts, including lab setup and proof‑of‑concept execution.
Solid understanding of security solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of SaaS, orchestration and multi‑vendor integrated deployments.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP and Cyber Kill Chain.
