Supply Chain, Purchasing & Compliance Coordinator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented professional to coordinate purchasing, supply chain, and compliance activities for our growing international food manufacturing and distribution business. This fully remote position supports domestic and overseas suppliers, ensures smooth import logistics, and maintains regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day purchasing activities with domestic and international suppliers, creating and tracking purchase orders.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, product availability, and on‑time delivery.
• Monitor supplier lead times, purchasing schedules, and inventory requirements.
• Prepare and organize import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of analysis, and bills of lading.
• Support customs clearance activities and resolve shipment delays, damages, shortages, or transportation issues.
• Maintain supplier approvals, compliance records, COAs, and audit documentation.
• Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, pricing, and deliveries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement and supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with import logistics, customs documentation, and food‑safety regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across multiple departments.
