Supply and Logistics Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Parexel is seeking a Supply and Logistics Specialist to support the Supply & Logistics Project Manager in designing and executing study‑specific supply chain strategies for clinical trial projects. The role is remote and focuses on ensuring timely, cost‑effective delivery of clinical supplies while complying with ICH GCP and GxP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SLPM to develop logistics concepts, sourcing, and distribution strategies that meet client expectations and project profitability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date study scope, timelines, and budgets; proactively communicate risks or changes.
• Manage study‑specific tools, documents, and resource allocation to align with CTS&L requirements.
• Oversee Pass‑Through Cost (PTC) management, reporting internal service fees and external provider expenses.
• Coordinate with third‑party providers, negotiate scopes of work, and ensure required documentation is in place.
• Plan inventory, develop supply schedules, and adjust based on clinical team feedback.
• Identify and initiate process improvements; mentor junior supply specialists and assistants.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, clinical research, or consulting industry, with a strong background in clinical logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a matrix environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, professional attitude and a client‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Proficient use of the MS Office suite.
• Basic project management skills.
• Good understanding of GxP regulatory framework.
