Staff Product Designer, Growth

About the role

Deel is looking for a passionate Staff Product Designer, Growth to lead design initiatives that drive user activation, engagement, retention and monetization across its global payroll and HR platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver product design for multiple growth initiatives, aligning with user needs and business metrics.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data analysts and marketers to test and iterate on growth hypotheses.
• Partner with UI stakeholders to shape design system strategy, including motion, animations and micro‑interactions.
• Rapidly prototype, run A/B tests and use data insights to validate and optimise new features.
• Mentor product designers, lead design rituals and develop standards to improve team efficiency.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of product design experience, including at least 2 years at a staff‑level or equivalent.
• Proven track record of growth‑focused design work that delivers measurable business outcomes.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments and making data‑driven decisions.

Required skills

• Strong UI, UX and visual design expertise.
• Advanced prototyping techniques and experience with progressive disclosure.
• Deep understanding of product metrics, user‑behavior analytics and A/B testing.
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar.
• Curiosity and experience designing AI‑assisted or AI‑powered product experiences.
