Sr. Buyer – Strategic Sourcing for Indirect Spend

About the role

We are seeking an innovative Sr. Buyer to lead sourcing projects for a global client. You will be responsible for cost‑effective procurement of goods and services while ensuring quality, performance, and compliance with the client’s procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing and contracting for indirect spend categories with an annual spend of up to $250,000 per event.
• Own the full RFx lifecycle (RFI, RFP, RFQ), facilitate supplier selection, issue documentation, and evaluate responses.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and draft contracts such as MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and Change Orders.
• Conduct supplier negotiations, onboarding, and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
• Perform market intelligence, cost‑benefit analysis, and benchmarking to support fair‑value determinations.
• Execute pre‑transaction due diligence, risk assessments, and obtain necessary legal, finance, and security approvals.
• Verify that contracts are reviewed and approved according to the client’s authority matrix.

Required profile

• Student or graduate in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• IT background is a plus.
• Fluent in English (oral and written) with strong communication skills.
• Proven negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience supporting English‑speaking regions, particularly North America.
