Spanish Bilingual Accounting Specialist - CPA (QuickBooks ProAdvisor)

About the role

We are seeking a Spanish‑bilingual Accounting Specialist to lead complex accounting remediation and multi‑year financial reconstructions for high‑value clients. This remote position works directly with CPAs, offering a blend of challenging project work and long‑term professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and transfer business data into QuickBooks (Desktop & Online).
• Reconcile credit‑card, bank statements, and process deposits of checks and cash.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in receivables and payables monitoring.
• Reconcile payroll records and ensure timely payroll tax remittances.
• Clean‑up and catch‑up new client QuickBooks files, correcting identified errors.
• Assist in providing comprehensive tax services for small businesses and individuals.
• Eliminate paper‑based receipt collection by digitizing documents.
• Oversee business expenses and receipts to support seamless tax filings.
• Communicate professionally with stakeholders via letters and emails.
• Prepare detailed business income and expense statements for tax filing and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Excellent communication, organizational, and planning abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• CPA degree preferred or at least 2 years experience with US‑based companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience and solid understanding of GAAP.

Required skills

• QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification (Desktop & Online).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fundamental accounting concepts and GAAP compliance.
