About the role

The South Cone Herbicides & Insecticides Product Manager will lead Bayer’s Crop Protection Squad across the Southern Cone, shaping the integrated value proposition for customers and driving business growth. This role combines strategic portfolio planning, pricing, and lifecycle management to ensure the region meets its revenue and market‑share targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Crop Protection Squad activities and implement the DSO operating model.
• Define and prioritize the regional product portfolio strategy across crops, aligning with global asset and regional crop strategies.
• Develop product positioning, pricing strategies, market‑funding parameters, share targets and distribution plans.
• Lead the creation of 3‑year customer value plans and a 10‑year project valuation outlook.
• Collaborate with Crop Leads, Customer Marketing, and other stakeholders to achieve KPI targets for key brands.
• Champion tailored solutions for customers, managing new product requirements, LCM activities and portfolio streamlining.
• Deliver operating plans for key brands, ensuring growth objectives for market share, revenue, profit and ROI are met.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management or portfolio leadership within crop protection or related agricultural sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to develop pricing, value‑proposition and long‑term business plans.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams, regional leads and global partners.
• Ability to drive results against KPIs and manage complex stakeholder environments.
