About the role

Marvell is seeking a Software/Firmware Engineering Intern to support its coherent optical communications products. You will work on Linux‑based embedded systems and help bring up complex hardware designs.

Key responsibilities

Customize Linux to run on embedded platforms.
Implement firmware for FPGA and microcontroller devices.
Participate in hardware bring‑up, characterization, and verification.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with firmware development on FPGA or microcontroller hardware.
Knowledge of embedded operating systems (Linux and real‑time OS).
Ability to interpret hardware specifications.

Required skills

Linux development for embedded systems.
Firmware implementation for FPGA and microcontrollers.
Embedded OS expertise (Linux, RTOS).
Hardware bring‑up, characterization and verification.
