Software Engineer in Test (SDET)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our engineering team. The role blends full‑stack development with a strong focus on automated quality, working on a Node.js/TypeScript/React codebase and delivering reliable end‑to‑end tests.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end (E2E) test suites using Playwright.
• Create and manage database seeders and fixtures for repeatable test environments on MongoDB.
• Collaborate closely with developers on the Node.js, TypeScript and React stack.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and propose automation solutions.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure they run on every deployment.
• Occasionally contribute to full‑stack feature development when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional full‑stack software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with test automation, not manual QA.
• Proven track record of writing E2E tests, preferably with Playwright.
• Solid experience with Node.js, TypeScript and React.
• Experience working with MongoDB.
• Fluent English (C1 or higher) for communication with stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to spot and fix problems independently.
