Software Engineer II – Accounting Experience

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a Software Engineer II who combines strong software development expertise with accounting knowledge to build fintech solutions. The role sits within a fast‑growing team and offers the chance to apply domain expertise to technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Golang.
• Build and maintain front‑end features with React and React Native.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance and maintain software solutions.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and ensure compliance with coding standards.
• Implement monitoring and metrics using Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and manage deployments on Kubernetes and AWS.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Background in accounting or finance and the ability to translate domain knowledge into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with high IQ and high EQ.
