Software Engineer – Hybrid (Palermo)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑stack Software Engineer to join our fast‑moving team on a long‑term basis. The role is hybrid, with one day per week in a coworking space in Palermo and the rest remote. You will work on production‑ready features that span both backend and frontend layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship scalable APIs and services using Node.js, Python or Java.
• Contribute to frontend components with modern frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.
• Integrate AI tools and APIs into existing applications and workflows.
• Debug, monitor, and resolve issues across the full stack in a production environment.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of professional experience in full‑stack development.
• Strong backend expertise with Node.js, Python or Java.
• Comfortable working with APIs, databases and system design.
• Interest or experience with AI/LLM APIs and AI‑powered features.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
