Software Engineer (Full‑Stack) – Hybrid in Palermo

About the role

We are looking for a full‑stack Software Engineer to join our fast‑moving team. The role is hybrid, with one day per week at a coworking space in Palermo, and focuses on building production‑ready features across both backend and frontend.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship features for backend and frontend systems.
• Create and maintain scalable APIs and services using Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Work with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.
• Integrate AI tools and APIs into applications and workflows.
• Debug and resolve production issues across the full stack.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong backend expertise with Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and system design.
• Interest or experience with AI tools and APIs.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast‑moving environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
