Software Applications Developer

About the role

The Software Applications Developer is a core member of the Product Development Team, working closely with the Product Owner to turn software designs into functional, high‑quality code. You will be responsible for delivering well‑documented, unit‑testable solutions while adhering to coding standards and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and extend new features and existing functionality for Windows desktop applications.
• Create unit test plans, resolve defects, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in design, release, and sprint planning activities.
• Write supporting documentation such as test plans, technical specifications, and in‑code comments.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Technical Support, Documentation, and Product Line Management to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead or contribute to code, design, and test reviews, as well as R&D improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of programming/analysis experience in a business environment.
• At least 5 years of professional experience with Microsoft C++.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; self‑motivated and energetic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
