Social Media Content & Growth Strategist

About the role

The client, a comic and entertainment company, seeks a hands‑on Social Media Content & Growth Strategist to build audiences around its characters, stories, games and upcoming projects. This remote, part‑time role blends research, creative production, publishing, and analytics to turn social channels into an audience engine.

Key responsibilities

• Research emerging formats, platform changes, memes and cultural trends; translate findings into experiments.
• Develop original concepts for memes, static posts, carousels, short‑form videos and recurring series.
• Produce publishable content using existing artwork, write captions and hooks in distinct character voices, and edit short‑form videos.
• Maintain and schedule the social content calendar across multiple accounts, coordinating with designers and animators.
• Track and analyze reach, engagement, follower growth and other metrics; run experiments and provide actionable reports.
• Identify and execute organic growth tactics such as shares, collaborations, creator partnerships and community outreach.

Required profile

• Curious, resourceful and organized with a strong sense of humor.
• Deep familiarity with internet culture, memes, fandoms and how social platforms work today.
• Proactive mindset – brings ideas and opportunities without needing detailed assignments.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Instagram/Meta and TikTok, especially short‑form content and organic discovery.
• Hands‑on experience creating social content, including copywriting and video editing.
• Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe design tools.
• Experience with short‑form video editing software.
• Familiarity with modern AI‑assisted creative tools (preferred).
