Snowflake Data Architect

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect and Developer to lead the design, administration, and optimization of its Snowflake cloud data platform. Based in Buenos Aires, the role will start remotely and transition to an on‑site or co‑working environment as the team settles.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Snowflake environments across development, staging, and production.
• Manage virtual warehouses, resource monitors, and auto‑scaling policies to balance cost and performance.
• Administer role‑based access control (RBAC), network policies, SSO/SAML integrations, and data‑masking policies.
• Monitor platform health, set up alerting, and lead incident response for data availability issues.
• Plan and execute Snowflake version upgrades and patch deployments.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, high‑performance data solutions supporting analytics and AI initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating Snowflake data platforms in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and end‑to‑end data pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a focus on cost‑effective performance tuning.
