Site Activation Specialist (Home-Based)

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Site Activation Specialist to perform country-level Site Activation (SA) activities in Argentina, working from home. The role covers start-up and site activation tasks in line with local and international regulations, standard operating procedures, project requirements and budgetary guidelines, and may also include maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned studies, acting as liaison between investigative sites, the Site Activation Manager, the Project Management team and other departments, while ensuring adherence to SOPs, work instructions, deliverable quality and project timelines.
• Carry out start-up and site activation activities according to regulations, SOPs and work instructions, and distribute completed documents to sites and the internal project team.
• Prepare site regulatory documents, checking them for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain internal systems, databases and tracking tools with project-specific information.
• Review and give feedback to management on site performance metrics, and review, establish and agree on project planning and timelines, including contingency plans.
• Inform team members about the completion of regulatory and contractual documents for each site, and follow up the approval and execution of documents, ethics approvals, Informed Consent Forms and Investigator Packs.
• Provide local expertise to Site Activation Managers and the project team during planning, and perform quality control of documents provided by sites.
• May have direct contact with sponsors on specific initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• More than 2 years of clinical research experience; clinical trial assistant experience is a plus.
• Experience in clinical research regulatory activities in Argentina, including presentations to ethics committees and ANMAT (SSU and maintenance phases).
• Good command of English.
