SEO Manager – Remote (Latin America & South Africa)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Manager to lead the SEO department of a digital marketing agency that serves dental and healthcare clients. The role involves developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies and managing a remote team to drive organic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the SEO team, including two offshore SEO Assistants.
• Develop and execute SEO strategies covering Technical SEO, On‑Page SEO, Local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and AI‑powered search.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical audits to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with content, web development, and client success teams to implement SEO best practices.
• Monitor organic performance, analyze data, and optimize strategies to improve rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Create client reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Improve SEO workflows, quality assurance processes, and documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Google algorithm updates, AI search trends, and industry best practices.
• Mentor team members and support their professional development.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience managing SEO campaigns.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring an SEO team, including remote or offshore members.
• Strong expertise in Technical SEO, On‑Page SEO, Local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and AI search optimization.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Screaming Frog, Search Atlas, and other SEO tools.
• Basic HTML and WordPress knowledge with experience collaborating with development teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and confidence in client‑facing meetings.
• Background in a digital marketing agency, preferably serving the U.S. market; healthcare niche experience is a plus.

• Salary USD 1,700 – 2,200 per month plus performance bonuses.
