Senior Unity Developer

About the role

The Sandbox is seeking an experienced Senior Unity Developer to join its blockchain‑based gaming platform. You will help build a decentralized metaverse that empowers creators and players to shape immersive worlds using NFTs, social experiences, and cutting‑edge game technology.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in product development from ideation through deployment and post‑launch support.
• Write well‑designed, testable, and efficient code following best software practices.
• Translate design and product documentation into technical specifications.
• Create authoring and debugging tools, and build reusable code libraries.
• Develop groundbreaking features for both users and internal tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of Unity experience and 3 years in game development.
• Shipped at least one Unity game.
• Strong knowledge of C++/C# programming, data structures, and 3D mathematics.
• Experience with Unity’s asset and build pipelines, Git or other DVCS, and collaborative distributed development.
