Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

SLB, which acquired ChampionX on 16 July 2025, is hiring a Senior Tax Analyst based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The role sits in a shared services organization and covers tax compliance, tax accounting and financial reporting. Selected candidates start with ChampionX and move to SLB during the planned integration. The position is full-time and hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual corporate tax returns (VAT/GST, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax) in line with local regulations and corporate requirements.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between tax returns and General Ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Act as main contact for external auditors and tax authorities, coordinating responses and supporting documentation.
• Support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations, deferred tax accounting, tax accruals and related reporting.
• Assist in transfer pricing documentation reviews, intercompany transactions and local compliance.
• Review and validate tax-related financial information, support internal stakeholders with tax information and reporting, and contribute to process improvement in the tax and accounting function.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in Tax, Accounting or Finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax accounting.
• Experience with tax reporting, reconciliations and audits; ability to work independently and manage several priorities.
• Immigration sponsorship is not offered.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Preferred: experience in multinational or shared services environments, familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and knowledge of transfer pricing concepts.
• Professional proficiency in English.
