Senior Site Activation Specialist

About the role

IQVIA Biotech is looking for a Senior Site Activation Specialist in Buenos Aires. The role performs site activation (SA) activities at country level in line with local and international regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), project requirements and budgetary guidelines, and may include maintenance activities. It develops a professional individual contributor working under moderate supervision, who recommends improvements to systems and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned studies with investigative sites, the Site Activation Manager, the project management team and other departments, ensuring adherence to SOPs, work instructions, deliverable quality and timelines.
• Carry out feasibility, site identification, start-up and site activation activities, then distribute completed documents to sites and the project team.
• Prepare site documents and review them for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain internal systems, databases and tracking tools with project-specific information.
• Review site performance metrics and give feedback to management; review, establish and agree on project plans and timelines, and implement contingency plans when needed.
• Inform the team about the completion of feasibility, site ID, regulatory and contractual documents, and follow up on approvals, execution and release of documents such as the CDA/SIF, ethics, informed consent forms and investigator packs.
• Provide local expertise to Site Activation Managers and the project team during planning, perform quality control of site documents, and may contact sponsors directly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
• Three years of clinical research or other relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years of clinical research experience, including one year in a leadership capacity, or an equivalent combination.
