Senior Shopify Developer – Remote (US‑Based Agency)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Shopify Developer to lead the creation of custom Shopify themes and advanced storefront features for subscription‑focused CPG brands. You will work remotely with a dedicated pod that includes a Tech Lead, Project Manager, and Designer, delivering high‑impact e‑commerce solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Build advanced Shopify features, paid‑media landing pages, and conversion‑focused updates.
• Optimize storefront performance, scalability, and conversion rates.
• Set up, manage, and deploy A/B tests with Intelligems, ensuring accurate tracking.
• Design, build, and maintain integrations with third‑party services, including subscription platforms such as Skio and ReCharge.
• Troubleshoot and optimize API performance, working with Shopify APIs and external systems.
• Collaborate on technical architecture and mentor junior developers.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools to improve development efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of web development experience with deep Shopify expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify architecture, Liquid templating, and Shopify APIs.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from requirements to deployment.
• Experience with A/B testing programs and performance optimization.
