Senior Shopify Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Shopify Developer to join a leading global toy manufacturer. This full‑time (40 h/week) position works 4 PM ET – 12 AM ET with weekend on‑call availability and offers flexibility to work remotely, from our office, or a local coworking space.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain e‑commerce solutions on Shopify and Shopify Plus.
• Build and customize Shopify themes and storefront experiences.
• Develop and integrate custom Shopify applications.
• Implement and optimize checkout customization using modern Shopify capabilities.
• Work with Shopify Storefront API, Admin API, and GraphQL.
• Align solutions with Online Store 2.0 architecture.
• Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, and SEO.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
• Maintain high code quality using Git and CI/CD best practices.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience as a Shopify Developer.
• Excellent knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven experience with Shopify Plus, Online Store 2.0, and Shopify APIs.
• Understanding of performance optimization and SEO for e‑commerce.
• Strong grasp of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to own projects end‑to‑end independently.
