Senior Resource Management - Referrals & Pipeline

About the role

EY's Experience Management (EM) team is looking for a senior resource management professional focused on referrals and pipeline. The role matches resource needs with availability while considering skills, personal preferences and engagement risk, and coordinates with other EMs and client service leaders to balance workloads. It involves complex scheduling assignments that require close relationships with engagement managers.

Key responsibilities

• Assign client service personnel to engagements, review options and present recommendations based on policies and client requirements, challenging scheduled hours and personnel where appropriate.
• Promote and monitor resource sharing, and network with team members across regions and service lines to address resource needs and conflicts.
• Identify and address scheduling risks such as high or low utilization, morale and performance issues, and reduce unassigned time.
• Resolve conflicts with engagement team members and counsel supported personnel, raising issues to leadership as needed.
• Communicate with client service personnel about their schedule preferences and career development goals, and prioritize staffing decisions around engagement needs.
• Work with recruiting, talent, visa and immigration functions to support client servers.
• Read, review and interpret utilization and scheduling reports, use scheduling tools to forecast hours and track utilization, and share data with leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Ideally, proficiency in Microsoft applications and strong problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working longer hours as needed.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and communication skills, oral and written.
• Negotiation and conflict management.
• Moderate understanding of Excel.
