Senior Project Manager

About the role

Assurant is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex, cross‑functional business and technology initiatives that support strategic objectives and enterprise transformation. The role involves planning, executing, monitoring and delivering enterprise projects within scope, schedule, budget and quality parameters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex enterprise initiatives from initiation through implementation and operational transition.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, success measures and implementation strategies.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets and governance artifacts.
• Coordinate business, technology, operations, vendor and third‑party resources to achieve project objectives.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions and change requests.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization and facilitate governance reviews, steering committees and executive briefings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience leading large, enterprise‑wide initiatives.
• Proven success delivering cross‑functional programs involving multiple business and technology teams.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow or Project Portfolio Management platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
