Senior Oracle EBS Technical Consultant

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Technical Consultant for Argentina. The consultant designs and develops technical solutions, supports integrations and conversions, and works closely with functional teams and client stakeholders across implementation, rollout, upgrade and support engagements. The role requires strong hands-on experience with RICEW components.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements and prepare technical design documents
• Design, develop, test and support RICEW components and custom EBS solutions
• Develop inbound and outbound interfaces using Oracle APIs, open interfaces, interface tables and standard integration methods
• Build and support data conversion programs, reports, concurrent programs, workflows, forms and extensions
• Perform unit testing, support SIT and UAT, troubleshoot defects and carry out root-cause analysis
• Follow Oracle EBS development, coding, migration and documentation standards
• Coordinate with functional consultants, business stakeholders and other technical teams during deployment and production support

Required profile

• 3-7 years of relevant Oracle EBS technical experience, preferably in Release 12 (R12)
• At least 1-2 end-to-end Oracle EBS implementations, rollouts, upgrades or support engagements
• Hands-on experience developing RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows)
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher/XML Publisher and concurrent programs experience
• Experience with Oracle APIs, open interfaces, interface tables and data migration utilities
• Exposure to OAF, Web ADI, SOA/integration technologies or EBS 12.2 development standards is an added advantage
• English required; Spanish is a plus for Argentina-based client work; open to client-site travel

• Oracle EBS R12 architecture and AOL components
• SQL and PL/SQL development, performance tuning and debugging
• Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, Workflow, concurrent processing, APIs and open interfaces
• Understanding of EBS technical objects across Finance, SCM, Manufacturing or HCM modules
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting and migration tools is desirable
