Senior Oracle EBS Finance Analyst (IT Applications)

About the role

Gates is seeking a senior analyst to provide both technical and functional production support for Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules. You will work closely with finance, planning, commercial and IT teams to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of the finance applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1 & L2 production support for Oracle R12 Finance (AP, AR, GL, PA, SLA, FA) and related modules.
• Develop, test, and migrate custom PL/SQL code, forms, reports, and workflows to production.
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation such as BR100 and design specs.
• Conduct gap analysis, gather requirements, and support full‑cycle implementations and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional architects to design solutions and resolve finance‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years of Oracle EBS R12 Finance experience, including at least 5 years supporting implementations.
• Minimum two full‑cycle Oracle EBS implementations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of finance modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, PA, iProcurement, EBTax) and understanding of purchasing, inventory, order management, BOM and WIP processes.

Required skills

• Oracle PL/SQL, Triggers, Procedures, APIs, Interfaces, RICE components.
• Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, OAF, SQL Loader, Unix Shell Scripting.
• Oracle Database technologies and performance tuning.
• Reporting tools: XML Publisher, Report Builder, Discoverer.
• Knowledge of Oracle APEX and Java (plus).
