Senior Oncology Project Manager

About the role

Premier Research is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead oncology projects for biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma clients. You will coordinate global teams, manage budgets, and ensure successful delivery of clinical trials that bring innovative therapies to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate global project team members across Regulatory, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, and Medical Affairs/Safety to achieve milestones.
• Maintain project budget and scope to ensure profitability.
• Ensure all tasks follow project plans and Premier Research’s processes, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as primary liaison with customers, chairing project meetings and teleconferences.
• Support business development by developing proposals and leading presentations with Business Development and Scientific Account Leadership.
• Build strong client relationships to generate new and add‑on business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical, biological, or science‑related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialty pharma environment.
• Budget, finance, and costing experience at the project level.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑phase clinical trials throughout their full lifecycle.
• Global experience with cross‑functional teams.
• Deep therapeutic area and protocol knowledge in oncology indications.
