Senior Individual Tax Professional – Remote (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Individual Tax Professional to work remotely on a part‑time basis (20 hrs/week) with a clear path to full‑time. The role supports the firm’s principal by handling end‑to‑end entity tax returns and gradually taking on client‑facing advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review 1065 Partnership and 1120‑S S‑Corp tax returns from start to finish.
• Communicate with clients primarily through written channels (TaxDome portal, email) and occasional video calls.
• Assist in developing tax‑planning strategies for small‑to‑mid‑size business clients.
• Gradually step into advisory engagements as familiarity with the client base grows.
• Maintain accurate documentation and client records within TaxDome.
• Identify complex issues and coordinate with the principal for higher‑level decisions.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives as the firm shifts from compliance to advisory work.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in U.S. taxation.
• Strong proficiency in preparing 1065 Partnership and 1120‑S S‑Corp returns.
• Advanced English proficiency with excellent written communication.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain high attention to detail.
• Reliable home office setup with stable internet connection.

Required skills

• ProConnect tax software (mandatory).
• TaxDome CRM platform (preferred).
• Expertise in 1065 Partnership return preparation.
• Expertise in 1120‑S S‑Corp return preparation.
