Senior Full Stack Engineer - Hiring Events Platform

About the role

A company is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to diagnose and resolve production issues for a high-traffic hiring events product. The role focuses on keeping hiring events running smoothly and works closely with client-facing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve production issues, with particular focus on in-progress hiring events.
• Partner with client-facing teams to triage and address support tickets, resolving issues within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor production systems and respond quickly to alerts or performance degradation.
• Support architecture changes and system integrations that may affect hiring events.
• Maintain and update event logic in response to changes in dependencies and underlying systems.
• Support and onboard additional team members as other roles are filled, prioritizing Lead/Senior hires.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Java/Spring Boot as the primary skill set, Django/Python as secondary.
• Experience building and deploying software.
• Senior-level engineer able to ramp up quickly and own multiple projects.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
• Nice to have: Product Manager experience with GTM teams, AI-assisted development tools, and independent initiative including merging and deploying code.

Required skills

• Spring Boot and Java (first priority)
• Django and Python (second priority)
• React, Kafka, GraphQL, SQL or MongoDB
• At least one of: Dagster, data lakes, or Amazon Athena
