Senior FP&A or Finance Manager

About the role

AJC Logistics is looking for an experienced Senior FP&A or Finance Manager to join its team in Buenos Aires. The role supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting and reporting, working closely with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency and profitability. It is a hybrid position with three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for the logistics operations, and build financial models for strategic initiatives and capital allocation
• Analyze performance trends and KPIs, act as a trusted advisor and recommend cost optimization and profitability improvements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, monthly budget-to-actuals variances, weekly forecasts and monthly dashboards for executives and business leaders
• Balance and report gross profit by business unit, prepare payroll and labor actuals vs. plan (dollars and FTE), and calculate commissions and management incentives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field (MBA or Master's preferred)
• 7-10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting or financial analysis
• Experience with month-end financial reviews, variance analysis and management reporting
• Advanced or bilingual English, tested in the interview

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting and scenario analysis (Power BI, Tableau)
• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Business Central
• GAAP and financial statement analysis
• Communication and presentation skills, and ability to work with all levels of management
