Senior Financial Consultant – US CFO FP&A

About the role

The Financial Consultant – US CFO FP&A will deliver executive reporting, financial planning and analysis, and technology‑enabled insights to support strategic decisions across MetLife’s US business segments. This senior role combines finance expertise with advanced analytics tools to enhance financial storytelling and drive data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and delivery of executive‑level financial reports and presentations (QFS, QFR, ECP, DBR, ratings materials) with clear, actionable insights.
• Develop high‑quality presentation materials that translate financial results for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity and validation from Power BI, reporting systems, and internal models.
• Manage relationships with FP&A leads and cross‑functional teams to align messaging and reporting timelines.
• Design scalable, technology‑enabled reporting processes using Power BI, automation tools and AI solutions such as Copilot.
• Coordinate initiatives to improve data flows, reduce manual effort and support financial analysis across business units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance or consulting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset with ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
