Senior Financial Analyst – Upstream Operations (CAPEX/OPEX)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with upstream Operations on CAPEX, OPEX and production performance. You will act as the bridge between operational data and financial reporting, delivering integrated cash‑flow insights and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational variances (Actual vs. Forecast vs. Business Plan) for CAPEX, OPEX and production, including CM vs. PM, YTD, quarterly and full‑year metrics.
• Develop clear commentary and insights to support performance discussions, recurring reviews and management decisions.
• Serve as the primary liaison between operational data sources, technical teams and finance to ensure data alignment and consistency.
• Prepare monthly reporting commentary, validate data from source tools, and justify variances within defined thresholds.
• Participate in cost‑center creation, linking new centers to wells, PADs, WBS structures and PRA systems in collaboration with Master Data Governance.
• Partner closely with Operations, Technical, Finance, Production, Revenue and Master Data teams, providing timely support on cost, production and performance topics.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
