Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Dev Environments team. You will drive infrastructure optimization, cost‑saving automation, and operational excellence for internal developer tooling and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Dev Environments team in achieving strategic objectives.
• Implement cost‑saving measures for DevLab and Cloud VMs through automation and infrastructure tuning.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and ensure a high‑quality user experience.
• Track and maintain support metrics and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Participate in backlog refinement and deliver platform improvements.
• Promote Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices across the organization.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and Linux administration.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Strong Python scripting abilities.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of monitoring, observability, and SRE principles.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
