Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an international education and advocacy organization. The position is full‑time (40 hours/week) and based remotely in Argentina, with occasional travel to New York for a week or more each year.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the back‑end development team to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Work closely with QA to ensure the product is testable and deliverable.
• Maintain and optimize diverse systems, including AWS services and container platforms.
• Participate actively in an Agile Scrum environment, attending all ceremonies and peer code reviews.

Required profile

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Solid background in Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Travis).
• Good English communication skills and proven remote‑work experience.
• Willingness to travel to New York annually.
